Create the look: 8 Hours of sleep
Anyone trying to adult through life does not get a full 8 hours of sleep, each and every night. If you do, you’re incredibly lucky! Could you please let us know how you do it??
Those of us who are sleep deprived or just seem to look tired, all the time, need a little help from the makeup gods.
The first step is concealer, we are all aware of its magical powers but remember too much can be a bad thing. Find our top concealers here.
Here are our tips to looking less tired:
Foundation – Make sure you’re using the right foundation for your skin type. You want a foundation that will give you glowing dewy skin. Nothing that will dry you out or wash you out! Read our tips on finding the right foundation for you here.
Lashes – curling them will give your eyes the appearance of being more open. Go that one step further and invest in some eyelash extensions! In the early 2000’s the lashes were costly and the glue was a little questionable, now days lash extensions feel light weight and do not impact your day to day skincare routine.
Eyeliner – Trying using two different shades of liner above your top lashes. A darker colour closer to your lash line and a lighter tone just above it will make the white area of your eyes look brighter.
Adding a skin tone / nude liner to the lower lid will neutralise redness in and around the eyes.
Brows – Drawing away from the eyes is always a good idea. Read our brow tips here.
Blush – A pop of colour on your cheekbones will brighten your entire face.
