To maintain our standard of excellent service we ensure each new client meets with their dermal therapist or cosmetic nurse for a detailed skin analysis consultation prior to undergoing any treatment.
At Face Plus we believe good skin requires a holistic approach as opposed to only concentrating on the topical needs of your skin. During your consultation process your therapist will ask you some of the following questions:
- What do you like and dislike about your skin?
- How has your skin changed over time and have you had any issues with it in the past?
- Describe you daily skincare routine
- What kind of products do you use on your skin (for skincare and cosmetics) and are you happy with the results?
- What is your diet like? Have you had any issues relating to your gut?
- How does stress play into your life?
- Do you notice changes in your skin in relation to your menstrual cycle?
- What are your skin goals
- Do you have a timeline/ event to work towards?
- Do you have a budget/ work schedule that we need to factor in
These questions form the foundation of a treatment plan to help keep both you and your therapist accountable.
We love to follow up the consultation with an initial treatment which is bespoke to you based on the points raised in your talk. This is a great way to kick start your journey to your best skin.
We always recommend any new clients to come to their consultation armed with any skin health questions they may have. They are also welcome to bring in any products they are using that they wish to have some clarification on.
